Content standards and review status
How content is checked
- Automated validation checks every question for a complete prompt, four answer choices, a selected answer, discipline metadata, and a solution.
- Construction questions are mapped to the published April 2027 knowledge areas, but remain excluded from the 2027 pool until qualified review is recorded.
- Human reviewers must independently recalculate the solution, check units and distractors, confirm that one best answer exists, and record the exact applicable reference and edition.
Known limitations
Reference citations and qualified-review signoff remain pending across the bank. Some explanations are shorter than the target standard and are being prioritized for improvement. Practice scores are educational estimates and are not official NCEES pass/fail determinations.
Correction policy
If a question appears incorrect, ambiguous, outdated, or dependent on an unavailable reference, use the in-app Feedback button and select “Question issue.” Include the question ID and your reasoning when possible. You may also email support@passpecivil.com. Reports are reviewed before corrections are published.
Independence
PASS PE Civil is independent study software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCEES. Candidates should rely on the official NCEES exam specifications and supplied references for their scheduled exam.
